The Oregon State Beavers play NCAA Division-I football as a part of the Pacific-Ten Conference. The Beavers play their home games at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon. Head Coach Mike Riley has led the Oregon State Beavers for the past six seasons achieving a record of 56-42. Under the direction of Coach Riley the OSU Beavers have also made it to six postseason bowl games, winning five of the games. Last season, the Beavers played in the Sun Bowl beating Pittsburgh 3-0 and in the 2007 season Oregon State appeared in the Emerald Bowl winning 21-14 against Maryland. The Pac-10 is a geographically close conference, which explains why the Oregon State Beavers not only have an in-state rival: the University of Oregon but also two other conference rivals: Washington and Washington State. The University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon is only 40 miles south of Corvallis. With such close proximity the match-up between the two schools almost always sells out. The rivalry is one of the oldest in college sports history with the two teams meeting 111 times. The rivalry games are always fan favorites! The Oregon State Beavers roster is always full of great players, many of which have gone on to play in the NFL. The Beavers have also had 42 All-American Players. No matter who is on the field Oregon State Beavers fans love to come to games to support their team. Often the stands at Reser Stadium are a sea of orange and black OSU Beavers jerseys. Benny the Beaver, the Oregon State University mascot can always be counted on to make an appearance at games.
